Kamal Ind. – Bakrol, A’Bad

Set in the Odhav industrial estate of Ahmedabad, this project brings a factory and its office together under one clear architectural idea. The production shed is clad in charcoal profiled metal sheeting, wrapped with bold yellow bands that carry the Kamal Industry identity across the elevation and make the unit easy to read from the road. At the front corner, a double height office block in grey cladding steps forward with a projecting glass box, giving the working staff daylight and a sharp, modern face to greet visitors.

The two functions are handled honestly, with the rugged shed and the crisp office sitting side by side without pretence. Charcoal grey, industrial yellow and glass are used with restraint, so the building looks efficient and well kept while still standing out in a busy industrial neighbourhood.
